About Roger Warburton:

Roger Warburton is an environmental manager, sustainability expert and specialist in community environmental initiatives. He has worked at the Rediscovery Centre, the National Centre for the Circular Economy, an award-winning environmental research and education centre and the umbrella organisation for 4 social enterprises, since its inception in 2005 and has been Operations Manager there since 2012.

His role entails working collaboratively with a diverse staff team to create and manage cross-organizational, integrated operations strategies in the areas of social enterprise, transformational resource re-use and environmental sustainability.

He manages and co-ordinates the Rediscovery Centre’s social enterprises that provide community employment and training through innovative recovery, reuse, recycling and efficient disposal of waste and unwanted materials.

Roger also developed and managed numerous sustainability and community related initiatives in his previous work with Global Action Plan and Ballymun Regeneration Limited.

Roger holds a BSc (Hons) Environmental Management, School of Town & Regional Planning, from the University of Dundee, Scotland.
