Abstract:

This paper will present (briefly!) the sustainability practices necessary to truly establish and label a manufacturing company as ‘sustainable’. It will examine sustainability practices together with  ‘best practice’ from around the world and challenge companies, their owners, staff and suppliers with new ways of thinking and working together, while identifying the role of policy makers in establishing an environment for this to happen.
